Joe Boivin, the former Director of CIBC’s (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce) Year 2000 program, has an excellent y2k web site. He covers the Canadian scene. It's a grim scene.

These are the latest figures on the percentage of the y2k repair job completed, by category.

Canada is not going to make it. Canada is the United States' main trading partner.

It goes without saying that Japan is not going to make it. Japan is the United States' secong largest trading partner.

This is bad news for the United States.
