Sally "We're on Schedule" Katzen has announced that she'll quit as the government's Y2K flak . . . uh . . . spokesperson.
She has been appointed Deputy Assistant to the President for Economic Policy. She will serve as Deputy Director at the National Economic Council.
Great. From a lawyer running the most important techonological project since the Manhattan Project -- the other Bomb -- to an advisor in economics. It figures.
