We have a spreadsheet factory in which we remediate spreadsheets and as we are doing inventories, we are discovering how dependent businesses are on spreadsheets that recieve and feed information to mainframe or mid-range applications. So putting this part of the process off for 18 months means not completing the Mainframe work by 1998 because in these cases the tests may fail if the spreadsheets are receiving or delivering incorrect data......

SO DO THE INVENTORIES AND IMPACT ANALYSIS NOW.......WAITING COULD MEAN MISSING YOUR DEALINES......In some cases this could be suicide.
