Florida Power & Light has posted the following admission on its Web site. It is 14% through with assessment of its embedded chips. It is 1% into remediation.
What if some of the faulty chips are no longer being manufactured?
It is now April, 1998. I know of no reason to believe that this company isn't representative of the electrical power industry.
