The newly created Senate Committee on the Year 2000 will study the effects of y2k.
Then it may, or may not, recommend legislation.
It will probably hold hearings.
Prepared testimony will be read.
Cross-examination by members will not appear in the posted testimony, and probably not in the press.
There is no doubt what the testimony will say.
